The Kinders - 3rd grade attend HCC for a partial day of co-op. The day starts at 9:15 for an all-student and teacher morning time. Then the K-3 group covers folk songs, music appreciation, art, paper sloyd, geography, and science. Classes being offered changes every semester with whatever interests the moms involved, but in the past we have also had guest speakers, had manners classes, and gone on nature hikes. The whole co-op then breaks for an hour for lunch and play time. There is one more class after lunch. The day ends at 1:30pm.

High schoolers attend co-op from 9:15AM-2:30PM during the academic year. Their semesters are 14 weeks long instead of 12 like the rest of the co-op. This is in order to get the proper number of credit hours for classes. High school covers Writing/Literature, Science, History, Algebra 1 (for the 2024-2025 academic year), and more depending on interest. In the past we have also been able to offer special classes that meet once or twice, such as self-defense!
We understand that, as homeschoolers, high school looks a little different for everyone. Please contact us for more information about high school classes.
